Backup
Kingston: Main FacilityWe are backing up User's home and work directories for a period of ONE Month after which, the disk space will be recycled. We have deployed a large tape backup system using Oracle StorEdge L1400 tape library and TS4500 libraries with TS1150 Enterprise Tape Drives.. We have implemented a backup and retrieval strategy of user files located in each users /home and /u1 directories. In addition, we are maintaining off-site (encrypted) backups. |
